A 34 year old Ponca City Oklahoma man Walter G McCreary is in serious condition after a highway collision that killed his wife Leola Ruth 26 near Syracuse. The couple's 1955 Pontiac and a stalled wheat truck collided about 10 30 p m Friday thirteen miles south of Syracuse on highway K 270. Ed Good twin of Syracuse Goodwin and his son Larry 17 were in the truck when it stalled for gas and Larry suffered minor injuries. Sheriff McFadden said no charges had been filed as investigators proceed.
