County advances upgrades to exhibition building plans
Finney County commissioners moved to upgrade the exhibition building with south entrance improvements and a possible meeting room with kitchen. Architect Blaine Davis will estimate costs for upgrades including structure, insulation, lighting, and HVAC retrofits, noting old systems and power limits. A cremation cost resolution was approved up to 750 dollars for unclaimed bodies, with debate on up to 1,000 dollars for indigent burials and differing views among commissioners. The panel reconvenes Monday at 8 30 a.m. at the county administration center.
