Juco Debaters Enter Southwestern Center Division at Winfield
Garden City Community Junior College debate teams will enter the senior division at Southwestern College in Winfield Kansas after a strong junior division showing at Bethel College. The Bethel result included a third place finish by Bill Blankenship Lois Misegadis and Ruth Center, with a quarterfinal win over Southwest Baptist, a semifinal loss to Washburn. Ennis Richards and J R Sparke posted two wins and three losses. A 35 piece art display by Fort Hays State graduate students is now on view in the Garden City Community Junior College Library lounge with purchases possible.
