Cold Air Delayed But Mild Temperatures Prevail

Kansas State University station measured .94 inch, with four snowy events and wind gusts over 12 mph causing drifting, yet moisture aided crops overall. The four month period through January 1959 totaled 4.89 inches, driven largely by October’s 3.57 inches, far above typical values.
