Delayed Kansas education funding study pushed back
The Legislative Division of Post Audit delays its nearly 300 page report guiding school funding decisions, postponing a Wednesday release to 9 a.m. January 6 at the Statehouse. Director Barb Hinton says the two volumes balance budget constraints with detailed findings on meeting the constitutionally required education standard. The delay follows the Kansas Supreme Court ruling on inadequate funding.
