Sign-up begins Monday for the Winter Story Hour program at Finney County Library, 605 E. Walnut St. from February 3 to March 12. Superintendent accused of theft in Metamucil incident
Hutchinson AP reports James Garner 66, superintendent of the Kinsley Offerle School District, was cited for attempting to shoplift two packets of Metamucil worth 8.69 dollars at a Hutchinson grocery. Police say the incident occurred around 4 p.m. on December 23. Board president Mark Anderson will hold a special meeting to discuss the citation. Garner had no comment and is due in municipal court next.
