AP wire reports cattle markets show 1600 head with calves scarce and feeder stock steady to weak. Cows and heifers trade 15.25 to 17.50 with higher yields on good and choice stock. hogs about 2200 head with barrows and gilts steady to 25 lower. sheep steady with choice and prime lambs 27.50 to 28.00 and ewes around 6.25.
The Dow Jones average of 30 industrials at noon rose 4.17 to 964.47, with stock quotations supplied by Goffe & Carkener Inc. The telegram firm provided 2 p.m. prices as part of the market report.
Texas man Raymond B. Brasher 19 Texas City faces grand larceny charges in Garden City for stealing 500 dollars worth of saddles and bridles from M S Reeve feed December 6. He was brought back from Texas City after police recovered all items and Brasher admitted involvement. He is jailed on 2000 dollar bond after being committed by Finney County Court.

Born October 25, 1915, she was a Lutheran and survived by husband Howard, son James, five sisters and one brother. Funeral was December 22 at Bullock Mortuary, Denver, with burial at Crown Hill Memorial Park, Denver.
Mrs C R Weber 70 mother of Walter Weber died yesterday in Cyril Oklahoma. Born September 1 1895 in Lacoma Missouri she and her widower husband and seven grandchildren survive along with three other sons James Duncan Oklahoma Orville Caney Kansas. Funeral at 1 pm tomorrow Baptist Church Cyril Oklahoma burial in Anadarko Oklahoma. Miles A Blanchard 82 longtime Garden City resident died today in Broomfield Colorado. Surviving Leola widow son Howard daughter Joy Berthelson two grandchildren. Funeral in Denver burial Valley View Cemetery Garland Funeral home in charge.
