Catholics aim to boost Catholic radio network nationwide
In Omaha the Catholic Radio Association calls for rapid fundraising to seed as many as 200 new low power FM stations as FCC filing windows open. They seek $150,000 to launch and expand Catholic radio while leaders note a growing desire to revitalize faith through media amid clergy abuse crises and a shift toward traditional values. EWTN and Relevant Radio are cited as major Catholic media players.
