Prisoner Hurt at Finney Jail After DTs Hospitalized
A 22-year-old Liberal man jailed on suspected probation violation at Finney County Jail was hospitalized with a back injury after a fall from a bed while suffering delirium tremens. A doctor prescribed medicine and EMS called. He remained at St Catherine Hospital with a guard posted at his room. name not released pending charges.

Man damages cars after club denial jailed in Garden City
A 31 year old Garden City man vandalized four vehicles in the Grain Bin Supper Club parking lot after being denied entry due to no membership. Damage totaled about 850 with windshields shattered antennas ripped. He was jailed in Finney County awaiting formal charges following witness accounts. Eight Southwest Kansans elected to Santa Fe Trail Council Boy Scouts of America offices. He was a World War II Army sergeant and member of VFW Eagles Lodge and American Legion. surviving relatives listed. Memorials to Garden Valley Retirement Village or American Cancer Society.
