Space age Christmas lights glow with fiber optics

The newest Christmas tree lights use space age optics that transmit light along fibers, not electricity, enabling safe wiring and novel decorative effects. Albert V. Sadacca II, executive of the Noma firm, notes that one illuminator can light a seven foot tree and a two foot vinyl tree is available.
