In Winfield Kansas the fifth annual Christmas Day dinner for lonely people will be hosted at the Seventh Day Adventist Church by Mr and Mrs Lewis Prather both of Winfield The event began in 1968 after Prather spent a solitary Christmas in his small rural filling station The couple welcome reservations and ask guests to bring their own table service The meal starts at 1230 pm with about 30 attendees most years and letters from 22 states and England praise the gathering for companionship not just food

Dr Roy Patterson says two or three patients yearly show such reactions, often with other allergies. Mold on trees likely triggers symptoms, which fade after the tree is removed. No tree type is safer, and trees are cut in October and November to mold growth in damp storage.
