RHID program spurs housing development in Garden City
Garden City planning officials updated four taxing entities on RHID efforts that help developers fund streets water and sewer as well as electric upgrades. City Manager Matt Allen credited RHID with stimulating housing while noting a continued regional need. The district captures tax increases for up to 15 years to reimburse eligible infrastructure costs. See Housing page A5.
