Newtown Buries the Sandy Hook Victims and Heroic Teacher
In Newtown and surrounding towns mourners attended multiple funeral processions for the Sandy Hook victims, including Caroline Previdi and Daniel Barden, while the town faced waves of reporters and memorials. Flags, trees, and a long blue firefighting line accompanied the services as communities urged gun policy dialogue. Members of Congress visited Newtown Library to discuss legislation amid the grief.
