Judge denies venue change in gas explosions lawsuit
A Reno County judge refused Tulsa based ONEOK and Kansas Gas Service request to move the class action from Hutchinson where more than 27,000 victims seek damages for deadly natural gas explosions. The trial is set to begin June 2 with defense arguing jury impartiality concerns.

Multiple theft incidents reported. A known person took clothing from JC Penney at 2302 E Kansas Ave, then pushed a clerk as they fled. At Time Out Sports Bar, a separate theft occurred, with about 100 dollars taken from another person. A vehicle entry at 1000 block of JC Street netted a $300 CD player. Suspect at large.
