Christian spoof logos flood Christian merchandise market
In Birmingham, retailers sell spoof Christian goods that imitate familiar brands and logos. Items include a Jesus friend request shirt and “Abreadcrumb & Fish” paraphrase of Abercrombie and Fitch style designs. Legal experts note parodies are protected, but many Christian products imitate brands unlawfully. Kerusso, a major Christian mercheller, distributes items in over 7,000 stores and urges customers to report copied designs.
