Jennie Wilson third and fourth graders perform The Twelve Days of Christmas with colorful costumes and dialogue, mixing traditional themes with modern views. Director Sally Sharp, in her first Garden City year, chose a cast of about 100, and costumes were handmade by Sharp and her mother for reuse. The story follows a boy who wanted a basketball but received the twelve gifts, ending with a basketball. The performance included break dancing and a rap about faxing letters to Santa.
