Retired Teacher Learns Piano in Later Life
Sara Cook of Hinade Ill, a 76 year old former kindergarten teacher, started group piano lessons at 61 after reading about adult education. She practiced four to five hours daily, moved to private lessons, and by age 65 bought an electric piano with earphones to play at any hour. She finds piano playing relaxing and a perpetual challenge to improve technique.
