Search continues for Ramone de la Cerda in fatal knifing
Police pursue Ramone de la Cerda in the knifing death of 22 year old Ivan Miller in Garden City. FBI involvement and federal warrants on unlawful flight to avoid prosecution are possible as a nationwide broadcast notes the suspect fled after a Friday night fight at Goodtime Billiards. The county attorney says an official arrest warrant may be issued soon, with charges likely second degree murder if evidence supports it. A separate arrest in Finney County involves Joseph M. Maynes, held on a warrant from La Junta for escape from custody after a vehicle theft.
