Holcomb approves light industrial zoning southwest of town
Holcomb City Council voted to rezone more than 300 acres from agriculture to light industrial southwest of town after a lengthy meeting with closed session and bickering over heavy versus light industrial use. An ordinance will be drafted for January. The meeting also addressed demolition bids for Hay Mill property, carpet bids for city offices, and 2015 cereal malt beverage licenses for Ron's Market El Rancho Cafe and The Thirsty Dawg.
