Clarion Southwest Classic opens with three hosts in three sites
The fourth annual Clarion Inn Southwest Classic begins with six games across Holcomb Scott City and Garden City. Kansas City Christian Wichita Trinity and Pueblo East squads visit as Holcomb and Garden City renew the Ark River Rivalry, with Scott City hosting the opening night.

Bulldogs Brown Builds Ingalls Football Program to New Heights
Coach Brown transformed Ingalls Football at Dodge City High School by elevating strength, conditioning and a flexible offense. The Bulldogs went 5-4 in 2011 and 2012, then 7-3 in 2013, and 10-1 this season while averaging 230 rushing yards and 75 passing yards per game and scoring 580 points. Branson Sandoval led with 1,124 rushing yards, 22 touchdowns. Colton Schmidt emerged after injuries. JV team created for younger players.

Beating Hearts and Clubs in a Bridge Exchange

Declarer ruffs and finesses, but misplays by ruffing the jack of spades leads to a loss. The correct line is to discard a club from dummy, swapping a club loser for a spade loser to gain the game.
