Seward County Publishing Co. buys The Southwest Times from Liberal Publishing Co. after a two-year dispute that led publisher Earl Watt and 15 staffers to strike in 2008. Watt then founded High Plains Daily Leader with a $150,000 press. The two papers will merge and operate as one.
