Local woman’s great grandson stars in Chevy commercial
Wanda Smith of Finney County watched football Sunday and spotted her great grandson Dylan Van Gillan of Etna Wyoming in a Chevrolet truck ad. Filmed at a horse ranch near his home the 15 month old appears asleep on a cowboy’s shoulder in the campaign titled An American Revolution. His mother Angela Gillan former Holcomb High School student learned of auditions through a husband’s coworker. The couple learned Dylan might be included after nap time footage and learned it would air during World Series game five on October 27. The family has since seen the ad several times and hopes for a future acting path but remains grateful for the moment.
