OSU's Gass Named Big Eight Coach of the Year

Floyd Gass, 42, of Oklahoma State, earned AP Big Eight Coach of the Year after a 5-5 season that included upsets of Houston, Texas Tech and Kansas State and a narrow 28-27 loss to Oklahoma. Moreland Leads Ensign In All-Star SFTL Football Picks

Deerfield’s Gary Moreland tops a strong Ensign showing as Ensign dominates the 1969 Santa Fe Trail League all star football selections. Seven Ensign players earn nine spots on offense and defense with several seniors, while Copeland, Rolla, and Deerfield also place multiple players.
