Detroit apartment fire kills 6 children
A two story public housing unit in Brewster-Douglas Homes in Detroit was swept by fire on Friday killing six children ages 2 to 7 and injuring a 7 month old boy. The mother Juanita Fish escaped with the infant and was hospitalized in fair condition as investigators probe the mattress origin of the blaze.
