State Board Again Shuns Round Mound Reservoir
The Kansas Water Resources Board again declined to recommend Round Mound Dam and Reservoir in Ellis County for the state water plan. Officials say the board will not oppose or promote the project, awaiting stronger local backing and federal action. Governor Docking could later decide on a recommendation to Congress.
