Real or fake Christmas trees divide Garden City chatter
Garden City residents debate real versus artificial trees with safety, scent, and tradition shaping choice. Some prefer fake trees for convenience and fire risk reduction while others cherish the aroma and yearly ritual. Wharton notes customers plant cut trees post holiday as a growing tradition, with varieties like spruce or pine popular. Myca Bunch recalls hearing a real tree sound from opening cones, settling worries about pests.
