Viking Cagers Win at Holcomb
St. Mary's School of Gardens City won all three boys basketball games in a Holcomb triple header. The Vikings beat the eighth grade 33-21 and the seventh grade 42-10. A C contest ended 14-6 with St. Mary's taking the win. Tom Terrera led eighths with 13 points. Rod Montmey and Dan Wasinger scored 14 for the Vikings sevenths.

Holcomb Girls Basketball Start 2-0 This Week
Holcomb High girls squad opened the season 2-0 with a 46-27 win over Satamita and a 23-7 B-team victory. They followed with a 37-27 defeat of Lakin and a 14-11 B-team loss. Twenty players in grades 9 through 12 compete, coached by Marilyn Mathias with Jeanne Conger assisting. Next is Sublette High at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, varsity and B-team at Holcomb.
