Unintended weight loss and health myths explored
Dear Dr Donohue discusses unintended weight loss in a 70 year old, noting that amino acids do not cause weight loss and that weightlifting can build muscle and bone when done safely. Caffeine effects on exercise are reviewed with practical dosing guidance. A question about evening workouts is addressed, finding no evidence they harm the heart. The Annie column covers elder caregiving, wills, and marriage advice.
