City to take over management director role eyed in study
Cincinnati firm Novak Consulting Group recommended a management director post for Big Pool. In other business, Stewart outlined costs at Core Fitness with internet and cable services averaging about 1000 dollars monthly for cardio machines with touch screens. He proposed cheaper Wi Fi to replace ethernet and coax connections and suggested possibly moving some equipment back to the downtown facility to recoup members and offer new options. Stewart noted a 36 month Cox Communications contract dating to Core Fitness opening in February 2015 with around 18 months left and warned about penalties if terminated. Further planning is needed before any action, and Core Fitness would continue operating. Marilyn Porter praised the idea as beneficial.
