Water rationing strains Sublette as drought bites
Sublette faces water shortages with summer usage peaking at 28 million gallons from three wells. The city imposes odd and even day watering, enforces penalties up to 100 dollars per violation, and plans higher rates from Sept 1. Officials seek more wells and an eminent domain decision to secure Morris land for a new water supply.
