Colby alum Jasper leaves GCCC to lead the Garden City program after Ripple was hired in 2006. In their first season the Lady Busters went 1-28 while Garden City progressed to 11-20 overall and 6-10 in the Jayhawk Conference Western Division. Jasper previously coached at Highland CC for one season and was head girls coach at Lafayette High School in St Joseph, MO, posting 72-28 in four years. He hails from Troy in northeast Kansas and says the move has dominated his thoughts during a whirlwind 48 hours.
