Enrollment up at USD 363 amid transfer policy shifts
Mixed feelings accompany the end of summer as USD 363 reports enrollment rise driven by a policy allowing some in transfers from outside districts with stipulations. Class-size caps prevent growth beyond available space, with kindergarten at 18, first grade 19, and second through fifth at 20, while older grades vary by admin plans. Fifth grade caps reached mainly due to families moving in, not transfers.
