Investigation: Former college instructor charges dropped
Wichita police arrested Thompson in January. Finney County Sheriff Kevin Bascue said Thompson appeared in court on January 14, posted a 7500 dollar bond, and has been out on bond since. Thompson resigned from GCCC on February 28, 2014, after being hired there in August 2005. He moved to Wichita and began teaching at Northeast Magnet School in August 2015, where he was suspended with pay pending the case.
