Road work to start on Kansas Highway 25 south of Lakin
The Kansas Department of Transportation will start a resurfacing project on Kansas Highway 25 from the Grant/Kearny line to Lakin this week. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a pilot car, delays up to 15 minutes, and drivers urged to slow for work zone signs. J and R Land Co. of Liberal leads the $1.8 million contract.
