Hall Named KDOT District Engineer in Southwest District
Hall becomes KDOT Southwest District Engineer in Garden City replacing Larry Thompson who served over 20 years before moving to KDOT Director of Operations. Hall holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Colorado and started with KDOT in 1890 in Dodge City. he later served as equipment engineer in Topeka before returning to southwest Kansas as assistant district engineer for maintenance since 1988. Southwest District oversees 1,500 miles of road across 19 counties. The senior center of Finney County starts the Stepping On Falls Prevention series Tuesday, a seven week program led by Brenda Drees with daily sessions, cost 25 dollars, registration required.
