Transload project eyed as early as September start
Garden City discussions with KDOT push a rail siding at the industrial park to move wheat and milo to the Gulf. The plan includes Conestoga Ethanol, TP&L logistics, Wind River Grain, Meadowlark Dairy, and a 336 acre Con-Agra site added to the transload site with a hoped closing in 2 3 weeks. Construction could begin within 30 days after readiness.
