Sharing cultures in the home of Mary Buchele
Japanese exchange student Sakiho Suganuma, 13, from Sapporo, is part of a 4-H exchange program and, along with Buchele children Steven and Mary Lynn, cooked rice balls with seaweed figures. Steven’s prior Japan trip aids communication, though English remains basic, as they share Uno and learned phrases while helping during the Finney County Fair.
