Andre Ethier hit a three run homer in the bottom of the ninth off Rafael Soriano for his fifth walk off of the season lifting Los Angeles to a 5 4 win over Atlanta. Juan Pierre started the inning with an infield single and Rafael Furcal followed with a run producing hit. Ethier's 23rd homer tied the game and helped the Dodgers improve to 67 42. Scott Elbert earned the victory in relief. Derek Lowe took the loss after six and a third innings. Chipper Jones homered for Atlanta.
