Curran throws gem as Buffs split with Ulysses
Garden City High School split a home doubleheader with Ulysses at Clint Lightner Stadium. In game one, pitcher Jake Curran limited the Tigers to two hits over five innings, earning an 11-1 win and keeping GCHS error free. In game two, four unearned runs and four errors doomed the Buffs to a 4-2 loss despite a late rally, with Curran and Maier delivering key hits and defensive miscues altering the outcome.
