Scott City mourns death of Spencer family in Easter tragedy
In Scott City the Spencer family deaths cast a shadow over Easter pageant events led by Gwen Huck and the Ministerial Alliance. The community gathered amid heavy hearts as the Spencers were remembered by pastors and friends, while Dylan Spencer’s flight crash near Topeka added further sorrow. Investigators noted engine power at impact and debris strewn across a soggy field. Services are planned in Holton and at Scott Community High School.
