Rose Wagner built Garden City Salvation Army roots and music
Rose Wagner helped spark Garden City’s Salvation Army church starting from a home Bible study to a weekly worship and thrift store. She and Helen Parker led street band processions to attract attention, forming a community that now serves 50 to 70 weekly worshippers plus social programs, with 125+ involved.
