Currie reflects on growing K States athletics program
Kansas State University athletics chief Currie recalls a momentous 2001 Cotton Bowl in Dallas with about 70 000 fans and specifies how fan passion has backed facility upgrades and student athlete benefits. He credits mentors and Coach Snyder for shaping leadership and notes a turnaround from debt to a $4 million surplus and 27 consecutive home sellouts. He discusses funding, realignment, social media, and the need for ongoing governance reforms.
