Intergenerational Cotillion Brings Generations Together
The Senior Center of Finney County hosts a yearly intergenerational cotillion with about 50 GCHS Student Council members dancing with 73 seniors. Anthony Gardner of Garden City High School JROTC and Grace Elaine Snider of Healy dance to Ken and Rosa Pruitt’s Wichita band. Gardner, a GCHS sophomore, says the event is fun and the students provide the food while seniors share laughter and energy.
