Local notes show visits among Kokomo Logansport and Miami residents with family gatherings. The Galveston Drug Co. advertises automobile supplies and carbide while Spencer Morrison recovers at home. A public sale of John Galbreath farm property is planned for Friday with a nine month credit and four percent cash discount. The Baptist and Universalist churches announce upcoming events including a Christmas bazaar and a dinner service.
A public sale will be held at the old livery barn near the stock yards in Galveston on Saturday November 20 1909 starting at 1 o clock. Six head of horses four cows and farm implements will be sold with nine months credit and four percent discount for cash.

For Sale Buff Orpington Cockerels Mrs John Mills route 4 Komomo Ind. Samuel Garver and wife of Logansport spent Sunday with W H Smail and wife. Alison Bell returned Saturday from the south part of the state with a car load of Jersey cows. Wm Countryman wife and daughter Maud were the Sunday guests of W I Zehring and wife. J M Thomas and wife Glen McIlwain and Miss Lottie Frazee were the Sunday guests of Rev Boase Bid Wininger and wife left Sunday for Enderlin North Dakota where he has a position as telegraph operator. Leave your orders for Thanksgiving Ice Cream at the Galveston Ice Cream Factory. All orders promptly filled. L E Milzer Mrs Elias Turley and Miss Hilda Miller went to Tipton Saturday to visit Grover Turley and family. Hilda returned home in the evening while Mrs Turley remained until Monday.

The Sabbath services drew a hopeful crowd and the Y P A service inspired attendees. Ladies Aid meets Thursday, teachers to attend Thursday evening hour, choir at 7 Friday. Pastor Goodrich attended the Indiana State Men’s meeting. Rally Day and Missionary programs are set for November 28 with a Sunday school rally in the forenoon and Home Mission rally in the evening. Indiana Central University President L D Bonebrake will speak Sunday at Center in the morning and here in the evening.

Clyde Hart and his mother moved to Galveston and Mr. Lucer jion took the agency there. Claude Reed, previously in Brownwood, Texas, returned home due to ill health. Ed Nutter and family and several others spent Saturday evening in Kokomo. Jackson township teachers held a monthly Institute discussing The Mind in the Making and The Literature of the Bible. Edna Swafford visited Hemlock, Maud Countryman at Logansport, and the Houser family visited Mrs. Mary Hyatt. Eastern Star Lodge attendance included Cora Burk Nellie Taylor Wm Sprinkle Iva Reed Lola Nutter and Pearl Hyatt in Galveston.
