Quiet wedding ties Haynes family to Penu
A pretty quiet wedding took place Sunday noon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alpheus Haynes two miles north of town. Ruth Haynes married Chas Hunter of Penu with Rev Amos officiating. The bride wore white silk with violet silk bridesmaid dress, about 45 guests attended, and Sophia Schenger of Kokomo acted as bridesmaid.
