Rev Overmyer was Eight guest of Rev Imler and wife Saturday. Miss Mary Ulrich visited Miss Marion Moore. Cecil Marsh weekend guest. Will Marsh, Chas Mumert and wives spent Saturday evening in Logansport. Miss Mary Lybrook of Howard county was Saturday night guest of Miss Agnes Heck. John Cripe and wife were Sunday guests of Bruce Cripe. Heavy frost Saturday night damaged the corn in the area.

There were nineteen in the crowd. Mrs. Dora List and family entertained at six o'clock dinner Sunday John Moorehouse and wife, Harry Tobias and family of Kokomo. Clarence Emerick and wife entertained at dinner Thursday, Willard Burrows and wife, Chas. Henderson and family, Josephine, Margaret and Portia Oyler, Janice and Marcella Zehring. Mrs. Mary Ross, Misses Mary Hicks and Edith Hoover returned home Saturday from a visit at Indianapolis, Turkey Run and other points. While gone they visited Joe, Lantz and family, and Mrs. Ina Gore-Vawter in Indianapolis and Joe Houser and family in Parke county. Mrs. Cornelia Smith entertained at six o'clock dinner Tuesday, L. E. Miller and wife, Mrs Emma Beroth and daughter Vera and James Baker. The dinner was given for Mrs. Beroth and daughter, who left today for Texas, where they will make their home. They will visit relatives in Oklahoma while enroute.

Miss Susie Fisher leaves Monday for Muncie to complete Red Cross nurse training. Slumber party Saturday night hosted by Miss Mary Hicks and Miss Elizabeth Hicks with guests Mrs Gladys Logan Edith Hoover Ruth Merrell Mary Klepfer Nellie Klepfer. Rooms decorated in National colors and a large Red Cross motif featured on the bed and place cards. Breakfast was served.

Completed items for the past month include 28 hospital shirts 15 pajama suits 12 rugs 50 pairs of socks and sweaters. Work will resume Tuesday and Friday in the school basement with surgical dressings added Wednesday and Saturday afternoons. A large attendance is desired on these five sessions to maintain output.
