Mr M F Burroughs of Bluffton Indiana praises Chamberlain’s Colic Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy as the best for bowel trouble after years of use in his family. He notes the remedy is often needed before summer ends and urges purchase from Galveston Drug Co.
The Galveston town board resolves to construct cement sidewalks curbs and boulder gutters and to grade streets on Washington Street from Sycamore to Pan Handle railroad Main Street from Howard to Jackson California Avenue from Washington to North and related segments. A public hearing is set for June 28 1907 at 7 30 p m at the board office for residents to be heard before final action.
Last Sabbath was a good day with two strong addresses and a Brother hood organized. Next Sabbath marks the first anniversary of the present pastorate with preaching in Ree re meee inth. Childrens services are planned in the evening.
A Dallas reader reports using Dr Kings New Life Pills for malaria and bile disorders with no laxative effect. The pills are advertised as not grinding or gripping and priced at 25 cents at Alveston Drug Co.
Sallie and Joe Weaver left Saturday for a visit with relatives at Wabash. J. G. Peter and wife visited Henry Peter and family near Deacon, Sunday. Miss Bessie Laird, of Lucerne, was the guest of friends and relatives at Galveston and Lincoln last week.
