Miss Bessie Lybrook of Young America visited Mrs Millie Meek and family Sunday. Miss Marie Cooper of Logan sport attended Mrs Harriet Thomas Sunday. Mrs M M Davis hosted Rev L C Poor and Mrs Kemp at dinner Sunday at the Union Hotel.

The Baptist church reports a lively Saturday program by the Jolly Entertainers drawing a large audience. The Young People cleared about 10 cents, and Mrs. O. K. Woolley entertained the Sacred Literature class at the parsonage. Services next Sabbath include Bible School at 9:30 a.m. and preaching at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Taylor, sick, returned from Orestes after aiding evangelistic meetings.
Death notice: David E. Freeman, 24, of North Washington street, died Sunday at 7 45 p m after eleven months with tuberculosis. He left a wife and five year old son, a brother John Freeman, and two sisters Mrs Dolph Hudson and Mrs Clyde Stewart. Funeral arrangements were incomplete. Kokomo Dispatch
The Pennsylvania pay car stopped in Galveston at noon Monday. C. F. Thomas spent Sunday with his son Harry Thomas and family in Frankfort. Walter King Jim Kivett and Will Wininger were visitors from Kokomo in town Monday.
Frank Platt, owner of a Galveston bakery, has installed a new portable oven with a 200 loaf capacity to meet rising demand. He states the upgrade keeps his operation up to date and ready for public needs. Trustee M Shirley of Jell Township notes office days at residence on Tuesday and at Galveston Drug Co store on Friday each week.
