Half Mile Cortege for Slain Crispino at Funeral
Charles C. Crispino was shot dead in front of his home on November 22. Funeral services were held at St. Matthew's Church with a mass and interment at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. The procession stretched over a half mile, with police escort and many cars. Neighbors described a cautious, reserved street scene as the family and community marked the tragedy. The Crispino brothers’ businesses closed in sympathy.
