Sparks from a soot collector were blamed as the cause of a fire at Industrial Garment Service, 5409 Lake, Wednesday night. Chief Robert Colburn of the fire department said a box alarm was received at 9 38 p.m. Six engines, 3 ladder trucks, a snorkel, and police squads fought the blaze damaging the premises and contents, with totals around $1 000.
